Illustrating the Preservation Process Flow from Data Center to Forensic Report

Dallas Legal Technology is a leading Dallas-Fort Worth based investigations company whose investigators specialize in digital forensics, data recovery, digital document authentication, and electronic discovery consulting. Licensed by the State of Texas (TX-DPS-RSD) the company is an active member of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI) as well as other professional organizations. We offer competitively priced, comprehensive solutions for clients needing prompt, professional, high quality examinations of electronically stored information.
Our investigative service is based upon hands-on system engineering and information technology experience. We have over forty years of hands on, professional training and experience in software development, industrial control systems, data processing infrastructure and network security. Our experience provides us with unique insights into performing investigations, E-Discovery and digital forensic consulting.
We take a flexible approach to gathering facts and evidence, using a combination of traditional private investigative services and advanced digital forensics. The resulting data collected provides us with a solid basis to help you resolve your case. Our broad business and industrial backgrounds provide an innovative and defensible collection of relevant digital information.
Dallas Legal Technology carefully evaluates each potential case submitted to us. We take the time and effort to determine whether we can be effective. If we genuinely believe we can help your case, we will be fully committed to your success. When you work with our investigators and technical staff, you can trust that we will focus finding the facts necessary to investigate and help resolve your matter quickly and cost effectively.
It is important to know what we are and what we are not. We are licensed information technology investigators. We are not current or ex-law enforcement. Where LE skills are necessary and appropriate, we will discretely refer your case to investigators with a law enforcement background. However, we do work closely with law enforcement agencies if our client authorizes us to do so, or if we are compelled by a legal order. A Texas investigator fulfills their obligation to respond to a legal order by reporting to your attorney.
We cannot provide legal advice. We advise our clients to seek the counsel of a licensed attorney in matters of law, evidence and admissibility. We concentrate on providing defensible findings of fact and expert opinion. Protect yourself. In Texas there is no investigator-client privilege per se, only attorney-client privilege. Let us take care of the technological and investigative elements of your case.
